I haven’t exactly gone just reading, but I am on holiday in New Jersey visiting my son and family. I’ll be gone until October 22 and am taking a break from the weekly blog, though I will still keep up with my Facebook page. Last week’s winner of signed copies of IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT and IT HAPPENED ONE SEASON was Ashley Dunn. Congratulations to her, and thanks to all of you who left comments.

  1. Hi Mary,
I just read It Happened One Season and then had to read It Happened One Night. Both of our stories were teary poignant jewels for me. I hope one day soon you will indulge your fans by 1) writing the story of how Mr and Mrs Makepeace fell in love and 2) follow up with Nora and Richard’s story by telling us what they are up to 10 years after they remarried.
I want to thank you for your beautiful writing, I love your books.
    Your fan in Ontario,
